Several other podcasts which I’ve partnered with have been awesome enough to run this spot on their shows to promote The Most Okayest Podcast. You can listen to it here!
Meet Michael Wood, Jr. He is a recently, albeit young, retired Baltimore police officer. Slate Magazine caught up with him and delivered this piece that reflects on his time with the force, what he feels has gone wrong in his old workplace, and what the future for the department likely holds. Wood has made quite the journey across many platforms to share this story and I hope that if you have yet to hear it for yourself that you’ll take the time to watch this short clip.
Perusing iTunes each day is such a nerve-wracking click I experience, particularly when I’m checking the ‘reviews’ tab for the podcast. I don’t know if it’s mainly because I’m worried there won’t be a new review or, worse still, a negative review. So far, though, these concerns have dissipated as quickly as they logjam in my head…and that’s all due to your support for the show.
The Most Okayest Podcast is a 5-Star podcast! For now, anyway…Your encouragement as a listener has not gone unnoticed and I’ll keep grinding to make sure each episode has at least one morsel that you can hold onto and enjoy. I value your feedback, so please don’t be shy if there is something you want to hear discussed. I may not be able to jump right into it on an episode immediately after it has been suggested, but it will go into the corral of future content, rest assured.
Thanks so much for listening, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for Baltimore Part II coming out on Friday of this week.
The Patreon page for the show is LIVE as of this morning! Please take a minute & go check it out. You all are so awesome and supportive, and I thank each of you for helping drive me to make something ALL of us can enjoy!
A few people have reached out to me that don’t have iTunes and want to listen to the show, and yes, there is a way for you to get your fix without having an Apple ID and/or iTunes.
